CALGARY, AB – October 5, 2026 – Showpass today announced Event Inkubator, a new accelerator community for proven event entrepreneurs ready to grow their businesses and their impact.

Showpass has committed more than $10 million to supporting entrepreneurs through Event Inkubator, including access to growth capital alongside the technology, expertise and community needed to make bigger moves.

Independent event entrepreneurs are behind many of the concerts, festivals, performances and experiences that bring communities together. But turning a successful event into a stronger event business takes more than a great idea.

As event businesses grow, so do the decisions and the capital behind them. Bigger talent, larger venues, new markets and additional events can create significant opportunities, but they can also require investment well before the return is realized.

Event Inkubator is built for established event entrepreneurs who have proven audience demand and see a clear opportunity to grow.

Applications open October 5

Applications for the founding group of Event Inkubator are open from October 5 to November 30, 2026. Applicants do not need to be current Showpass clients.

Showpass will also host virtual Info Sessions on October 29 and November 19 for entrepreneurs who want to learn more about Event Inkubator, growth funding and the Showpass ecosystem before applying.
